VERONIKON means "true image" and it is chiefly a quest to seek out the Word in the Universe that was made through Him. In the Word was life and “this Life is the light of men”Jn 1:4. Supporting VERONIKON is a firm conviction that Creation finds its whole meaning in the Person of Jesus Christ, the “true Image” of the Father. Any article that is produced by Veronikon aspires to be an act of Faith, Hope and Love.
Love:   “as a deer longs for a running stream, so my soul longs for you my God”. If my quest is pure than I'll have expressed the Person of Christ in my work and I pray that the Word finds a single heart in me and that I create out of no other desire than the burning Love He inspires.
Faith:  VERONIKON defines the Universe in terms of the light which illuminates it--The Incarnate Word. My own reason has been more than delighted in the unity of the Catholic

patrimony and it is my unswerving confidence in Her fidelity to the Master that I have found the freedom to scale mountains far too ambitious for my own pathetic mind. The confirmation of Truth in art is that the most childlike connection, if true, is always found lying next to the loftiest explorations into the depths of the Mystery. Therefore God can lead both the child and the Doctor though the humble expressions of a searching artist.
Hope:   Man was given the task to “name the creatures and whatsoever he called them that was its name”. The sacred artist, in recognizing the form of Christ in Creation, is conferring on his world the “Name above every other name”. In this consecration of creation within the heart of the human person the Universe becomes nothing less then the Expression of the Eternal Word given as a Gift to Man: an invitation into the very Heart of the Almighty God.

If my art has accomplished any part of my desire to express the Sacred then a signature will add nothing to it. God has called me among many others to share His Presence through art and Scripture. There have been so many gifted artists who have journeyed with the Church. I presume to join the ranks of those whose impractical weakness is to be so easily enthralled by the light that the Incarnate Wisdom casts on my life and my world(a light which I confess sometimes blinds me to practicalities such as :do I know anyone who wishes to buy what so enthralls me?). The Wisdom I seek is beyond anything I will ever express and it is my hope that my work is a confirmation of the experience of others in their own sincere search for Christ's Wisdom and that it does express their Catholic faith.
